Terms of Service
Last updated: July 15, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Vetra Video Downloader desktop application ("Vetra", "the app") and the website vetravideo.com, operated by the owner of vetravideo.com ("we", "us"), reachable at info@vetravideo.com. By downloading, installing or purchasing Vetra you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Vetra is a Windows desktop application that downloads and converts video and audio from publicly accessible websites, entirely on your own computer. The app requires no account. A license key is only needed to unlock Premium features.
2. Plans and licenses
- Free — no payment, limited to a daily number of downloads and up to 720p quality.
- Premium Monthly — a recurring subscription billed monthly until cancelled. Cancelling stops future charges; Premium remains active until the end of the period already paid.
- Premium Lifetime — a one-time payment granting a Premium license for the supported lifetime of the product, including future updates of the app. "Lifetime" refers to the life of the product, not the purchaser.
A Premium license is personal, non-transferable, and may be activated on a limited number of devices simultaneously (shown in your account page). We may revoke license keys that are resold, shared publicly, or obtained fraudulently.
3. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Prices are shown in euros and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from the account page or the Stripe billing portal.
4. Refunds and right of withdrawal
Your license key is delivered immediately after purchase. By completing the purchase you expressly consent to immediate delivery of this digital content and acknowledge that you thereby lose the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (Art. 16(m), Directive 2011/83/EU; Art. 103(m) of the Spanish Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios).
That said, if Vetra doesn't work as advertised on your system, write to info@vetravideo.com within 14 days of purchase and we will help you fix it or refund you. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law grants you and that cannot be waived.
5. Acceptable use
Vetra is a tool for downloading content you have the right to save: your own uploads, material under permissive licenses (e.g. Creative Commons), or content whose owners permit downloading. You are solely responsible for complying with copyright law and with the terms of service of the platforms you download from. You may not use Vetra to infringe third-party rights, to redistribute copyrighted content, or for any unlawful purpose.
6. Third-party platforms
Vetra is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, SoundCloud, Facebook, Twitch, Bilibili or any other platform mentioned. Platform availability can change at any time; we do not guarantee that any particular site will remain supported.
7. Updates and availability
The app's download engine updates itself automatically and new versions of the app are offered when available. We may modify or discontinue features. If we permanently discontinue the product, active Lifetime licenses keep working with the last released version.
8. Warranty and liability
Vetra is provided "as is", without warranties beyond those required by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the use of the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including consumer guarantees under Spanish and EU law.
9. Termination
You can stop using Vetra and delete your data at any time from the account page. We may suspend or revoke licenses used in breach of these terms; if we do so without cause, we will refund the unused portion of any subscription.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Consumers residing in the EU also enjoy the protection of the mandatory provisions of their country of residence. Disputes are subject to the competent Spanish courts, or the courts of the consumer's domicile where the law so provides. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
