Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
This policy explains what personal data we process when you use the Vetra app or vetravideo.com, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Data controller: the owner of vetravideo.com, reachable at info@vetravideo.com.
The short version
- The app needs no account. What you download is processed locally on your PC — your links and downloads never touch our servers.
- We only hold personal data if you buy Premium: your email, license key, subscription status and the names of devices where the key is activated.
- Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.
- You can delete everything yourself from the account page.
1. Data we process, and why
- Purchases (Premium): purchase email, license key, plan, subscription status and billing history. Purpose: delivering and managing your license. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Kept while your license exists, plus what tax law requires for invoicing records.
- License activations: a device name and last-seen date per activated device, to enforce the device limit. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Support email: whatever you send to info@vetravideo.com, kept as long as needed to help you. Legal basis: legitimate interest / contract.
- Website analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not track you across sites; it gives us aggregate page-view counts only. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The website stores one item in your browser's local storage: your light/dark theme preference. It never leaves your device and is not tracking.
2. What we never collect
We do not collect the URLs you download, your download history, the files you convert, or any content processed by the app. That all happens locally on your computer.
3. Processors
- Stripe — payment processing and billing portal.
- Supabase — hosts our license database and backend functions.
- Vercel — hosts this website and provides the cookie-free analytics.
Some providers may process data outside the EEA; where they do, transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
4. Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing at any time by writing to info@vetravideo.com from your purchase email. The fastest way to erase your data is the Delete account option on the account page — it cancels any subscription and removes your license, devices and data immediately. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish supervisory authority (AEPD) or your local one.
5. Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
